... so how is world war 3 going? ;)
What, all my fish have a happy life (or did!)

The Acanthurus Japonicus (I got that off the order! lol) is happily swimming around and the Copperband is a little delight. All is happy and calm in my happy land in the big house!

Ive been drinking some of my ‘product’ by the way! Lol

Sweet, nice to chill with a calm tank (s). :)
It is yes Simon, I’ve just got to master snorting it like you, it still makes me sneeze like a lunatic, it’s sort of like water boarding with vodka!! Lol

Lookin georgeous as always, good to see you showing some love to the 'mini' tank
I will always love It, thing is, I’m thinking I could build a bigger and better one were the ‘mini tank’ sits, easier to maintain etc. I’ve sort of got this ich and at sometime I might have to really really scratch it! Lol

I think I could fit another 2000 litre system in the space available easy!

And guess what, my beautiful wife would just say ‘that would look lovely Shaun’.....

With all those fish and so much happiness I think someone is dosing homemade adult beverages to the tank.
Think Si and I need to try this method

I still have some space in the sump compartments were the Seachem Matrix is located so today I added another 8 litres of Matrix so that now makes a total of 56 litres, which is quite a lot. I think there’s space for about another 4 litres in the small gap though.

So according to the Seachem website, 250ml of matrix will treat up to 200 litres

So 56 x 4 x 200 = 44800 litres of water if my maths is correct and it’s generally a bit suspect! Lol

So on the basis the tank is just under 2000 litres, I think I should have enough now..... just..

The idea with all this by the way, it not to boost Seachems share price, but to create a monster biofiltration plant in the system to deal with nitrate removal from the outset. Some of the Matrix is deep down so the flow will be slower, and thats perfect for anaerobic denitrification to take place

I do follow things and not comment, love how this is working for you, does it mess with your skimmer as it settles?
Yes Simon, it freaks it out, but I now know it needs to be turned off when adding the Matrix. I forgot today and just caught it as it’s started and was frantically trying to turn it off! Lol

I washed it to get most of the dust out, I’m guessing that’s what freaks the skimmer out, but of course there’s always some left in.

The young chap involved was devastated, to the point I actually felt sorry for him and won’t be setting ‘my wolves’ on him. He was speaking to my father and the guys playing with me and was mortified, and left the course with us.

Shaun,
That is not cool.

Was playing in a group of 4 one day in the late 90's and the course was backed up and running slow. One of my friends got impatient and teed off into the group in front of us.

Lol
All hell broke loose until the golf marshal carted in... :p

Anyways...
You put in that rocket launcher UV or your S650, are you pushing a big UV sterilizer on your custom build?
