So this has been in teh tank all of 4hrs. I want to separate them so they have more room, but I don't want to damage them...

I do this with all my coral, I hate frag plugs!!! Some vendors use strong glue though and you could fracture the skeleton trying to rip it out. Try shoving a flathead screwdriver at the bottom of the glue to get the glue and coral off. Good luck! You can just pop them off, just grab low and don't grab the polyps. Or cut the plug in half, either way!
Also you can reuse the plugs this wayI do this with all my coral, I hate frag plugs!!! Some vendors use strong glue though and you could fracture the skeleton trying to rip it out. Try shoving a flathead screwdriver at the bottom of the glue to get the glue and coral off. Good luck!

Off topic... What rocks are you using, they look really nice!So this has been in teh tank all of 4hrs. I want to separate them so they have more room, but I don't want to damage them...
There are so many things wrong with this post.
Without details of the sale, the vendor and what was expected, lets move to solution.
Easy to remedy, pop them off plug.
If this was an online purchase, I'd source another vendor.
Without naming vendor. How much was your total landed cost of this double frag purchase?
Box charges freight, everything.

Or better question how did you get them to look like that?
Keep it up, the tank looks great! I'll look into them. I wonder if I could have the ultimate live rock combo with tbs and gulf live rock lolThe live rock came from GulfLiveRock, sand too, all live, 100 pounds of sand, 150 pounds of rock.
I didn't do anything except try and give it quality salt water honestly, sort of chasing numbers while trying not to, but its hard with not much experience. At this point I've done 4 water changes maybe? One was just to siphon/vacuum/clean sand, which I'm about to do again, just to try and get more of the very light/silty sand gone so it doesn't blow around.
I had to dose LC for a while to get phosphates down from .72, to right now .15. And I dose AFR simply to try and minimize or avoid water changes. At the moment it seems to be working... Though today was a big add to the tank with 4 corals, a diamond back goby, and a 6line wrasse. The filefish that was supposed to come today seems to be MIA, maybe that was a blessing.
btw, this live rock was live live live, the rock flower anemone came with, the gorgonian came with, several "clams" are alive and well even if they look funky... There's at least 9 feather dusters, I've caught and dispatched one mantis, the other haunts me daily.... There's one wierd 5 legged thing I've yet to span a picture of, there;s an urchin on a piece of live rock in the sump, there's various vegetation and I think macro algae as well.Off topic...
