I was looking to order a bunch of fish, but you don't have some sort of flat rate shipping? I had 13 fish in my cart and shipping was $107 to Florida?

Seems crazy. Maybe I'm missing something?

$100 for 13 Fish shipped seems pretty cheap to me. That’s a lot of weight. And shipping goes by weight.

Ok, in same manor 3 fish 79...

Good prices, but I'll buy local. Shipping kills decent prices.

Check other sites, because most places I buy from do free shipping over 200 and if you bought 13 fish that's definitely worth free shipping

    Yeah, plenty for sure.

Was just checking here because they have some good deals on fish I'm looking for, but with high shipping costs higher than most.

Looks to be a store that caters to the NE which is all good.

Yup, I've been waiting for these guys to catch up with everyone else, I had about $500 dollars worth of fish (like 3 or 4 fish) and shipping was around $200 to Cali. I'd like to think they're aware of the missed business and working on it, I actually don't know anyone else who doesn't have a flat or free rate after a two or three hundred dollar order to the lower 48.

My opinion it all balances out when you have great prices on the fish you can’t give free shipping unless your charging full blown retail per fish then you can. Example $69 purple tang vs $200 purple tang shipped free means your still paying more but feel better your getting free shipping.

Agree 100 per, except purple tangs local for 95-100 all day long.

I wasn't trying to start a war, just wanted to buy some fish and the shipping is out of line.

Hopefully they realize this and take action and I'll buy from them in the future.

They have good looking livestock but their shipping kills them. I contacted the shop and he got smart with me. He said that’s what you have to pay for quality fish. I will just stick to LA.

Not everyone has the scale to negotiate with shippers like LA does. If you bag and box a fish and bring it to fedex to send it to your buddy across the country you will have a rude surprise on how much that costs. And since LA was acquired by PETCO I'm sure their rates with FedEx went down ever further. Could name a host of other things regarding their acquisition by PETCO but I think you get the idea.
