Hi folks!
I found a good deal for a bunch of dry rock on Craigslist.

All this for $30

I don't really need it in my DTs, but feel like it's too good of a deal not to get and to just put a bunch of it in my sump. What do you guys think? Would it benefit my system alot?
Also, would I need to cure it or anything if they are going into an established system?

I like having extra rock in my system, so I think it’s a good idea. I personally would cycle it for a couple of months in a bucket with saltwater and strong flow. Also, some rock will have absorbed residual copper from fish treatments. I might also add some cuprisorb if I didn’t fully trust the source.

more rock is always beneficial, there is no downside to offering more space for the beneficial bacteria to grow.
