Should i refrigerate nori? Did i get the right one?

Selcon belongs in the fridge, but I think the Nori is fine in the cabinet inside of a Ziplock. It was dried, so keeping it dry is the ticket, imo. The moisture in the air tends to turn into condensate in a chilled environement. I use two bags, one for storage and one that I refill with 5-10 sheets at a time and that I will open and closes everytime I feed. Trying to keep the air exposure limited to the product over its lifetime.

Nori doesn't need to be refrigerated. It will last years in a ziploc

People soak food in Selcon before they feed the fish. I used to make my own fish cubes and added selcon into the mixture before I froze the cubes.

Perhaps a drop on the corner of the Nori, let it sit for a few minutes so the Nori soaks up the liquid, and put it in the tank?

Yes, Iff you dump the bottle in the tank it will cause cloudiness

It's "nutrition" so it may encourage bacterial growth and increase tank cloudiness over time, but with careful use it shouldn't be something that you will ever notice.

oh, and I wouldn't wet the Nori with Selcon and then put it back in the bag for future feeding. Wet and feed the same day.

The Nori you purchased looks fine. I buy "sushi" nori and try to avoid flavored or salted, or other "additives" beyond seaweed. Dried, can be sun dried or oven baked, I like sun dried myself. Seems softer and may be easier for the fish to chew?

I use garlic extract for my seaweed but if selcon, you dont want to literally soak it but a few drops over sheet adequate

Question so right now it is disintegrating a little bit since i cant zip all the way correctly unless I spend like 5' on it, could i cut it in small pieces and store in another empty fish pellets container?

I've never refrigerated Selcon or nori -- no problems but never really thought about it.

Selcon, I just shake and put about 3 drops on flake and let soak for maybe 5 minutes,,, then dump in the tank.
It does give off a brief cloud in the tank but goes away fast and doesn't affect tank parameters (per their advertising and what I've observed).

For nori, I think raw is probably better than roasted but I've just been using cheap, roasted, sushi nori from Amazon.
