I have custom 80G cube, sump, and stand. I love the tank but the size of the cabinet has always been challenging. Here’s how managed to get a ton of gear in a compressed space including a 7G ro reservoir, a 7G fug, and 2.5G additives. I know I need a cable management but for now everything is routed inside the cabinet. I’d love to see what you all have done in challenging spaces.

At a quick glance it looked like you had a NES controller mounted on your stand. Then realized it was a toggle box...lol

Currently building a new stand that will have an extended "shelf" so I can have a cabinet next to the stand, but still attached, to hold all the gear.

My current gear will not fit in the stand, so like some other, I just have it attached to the outside of the stand.

Cable management is not my strong suit. lol

I think you could consider this as cramped.... the 1st image is prior to my UV sterilizer install.

Wow! That is beautiful and clean, Sdot! Are those Royal Exclusive boxes or something else? You can message me separately so we don't clog the OP's thread.

I went a different route, and tried to eliminate the space you save for arms to access, I am in the process of building a slide out sump! Feel free to check out my build thread where I am tackling the extra complexity of that.

You don't need to be able to reach inside and pull out your skimmer, because you can access everything when it is extracted.

Although I am starting a new BIGGER tank build in the next week or two, I am sure I will cram it full again.
