This is an amazing tank and I'm super surprised at the relatively low setting you have your lights at for SPS. This just goes to show that lights are just 1 variable of many that make a successful reef. I'm impressed.

Have you played w/ the settings? What happens if you turned your lights up more?

When I turn them up more the get too pastel and kinda bleached. I think I can get away with the lighting cause my water is always crystal clean and nitrate and phospate is always low. Like for years it has always been around 3-5 no3 and .003 max po4. I dose AB+ just to keep everything from bottoming out. All of my rock is directly from the ocean and it does most of the filtering I believe. I feel most lighting is way too high for people’s tanks I think because the led we use are so efficient at nailing the right spectrum we can dial it back to compensate. Just my opinion though I am a red neck locksmith in the south.
