I've only ever had the Peppermint pistol so I thought they were all like that. Which pistols are not? Think I'll try something different next time.

I recommend tiger pistol shrimp he's what I got. I've never had a pistol so active and funny. He digs all day every day he doesn't have anymore to dig he finds a new whole. No
More digging right to new hole. There also the biggest of the pistol shrimp family so even some wrasse won't be able to bother them cause there so big

I have the same guys but they stay like 6 inches from each other and the govt only stays on the surface won't go into any holes. Did yours pair up right away?

Blue spotted watchman decided to eat the pistol. Assuming it also ate the 2 peppermint shrimp which mysteriously disappeared. Was quickly donated to the LFS.

Now have a YWG and another tiger pistol.

I've had mine for almost 3 years. Even through tank upgrade. Not sure what you mean?
