Where is that last goni from?! Looks amazing!
Don’t even bother it’s the biggest pita lol

It goes through phases for weeks where it looks like this

I’m told that once it’s base is fully spread and encrusted, it will extend almost 24/7 and was warned it’s a slow grower.

I have two frags. One of them for 8 months. It’s encrusted maybe .25” in each direction in 8 months.

Thank you ! This is the goal (pics of mother colony). I was told it took almost 5 years to grow this. And that it really doesn’t start extending until it’s base is fully encrusted on a surface. Seems like it diverts energy to encrusting vs extending

Not my favorite coral type per se, but it is my favorite individual colony that I own.

It’s a huge 15-20” in diameter Turbinaria that I’ve grown from a small frag, and no matter how big or colorful other colonies are, it always stands out and steals the show:

You can really tell when a colony is HUGE when you look at a tank from ~30ft away and can still make up exactly what It is lol

I'm a bit more old school when it comes to some corals. I'm still fan of the ultra colored scoly I use to eww and aww over them. And look at the price tags. I recently acquired my first ultra scoly. It has been a long time coming but when you find one on sale for $50 it's kinda hard to pass.

I don't have a Pic of it though.

I also really like a beautiful Monti cap all spiraled up and layers.

I miss the long tentacle plate corals from long ago. all you see now is short tentacle or dome plates. It was a way to add anemone like coral without killing your other nems ha ha.
