How difficult did you find the upkeep for the 5-gallon?

Honestly it wasn’t as hard as everyone said. It was inexpensive, easy to aquascape, and cycled quickly. I do a 20% water change every other week and have a variety of soft and LPS corals in there! No fish though so that’s what I’m looking forward to! I’ll take a picture of it once the light turns on

One of our old web designers had this cute little 3 gallon pico on his desk which I always liked:

This was back in our old warehouse where we had Catalina Water in an enormous drum ... so water changes were easy and frequent for those of us that had tanks on our desks.

That’s so cute. Once I’m out of college and have a desk job my 5g is coming with me! Parameters change quickly but I’ve never had an issue with temperature or salinity, mostly nitrates...

Hello, I’m new to Reef2Reef. This is my IM nuvo concept abyss panorama tank. The aquascape is almost complete! I will be moving my corals from my 5 gallon tank in 2 weeks. Feel free to share any tips or advice!

I have the same tank and if I decided to set-it up (might move this summer)-
I am thinking changing the return pump to a Desktop Mighty jet and get also the UV.

I'm thinking about trying that UV myself!

It’s been a few months since someone has posted so I will add my new set up. It’s going to be a long post so bear with me.

Background:
I have been out of the hobby for just over five years and wow have things changed. I been trying to catch up on all the technology out there but still trying to keep this new build simple. My last tank was a 150 gallon mixed reef with 3 250W Metal Halides. A 200 gallon basement sump that I had set up for about 8 years and had to move so sold everything. I been thinking about getting back in the hobby for the last few years but really wanted to get a “show tank”. I came across Innovative Marine and was thinking about going with the 25 gallon lagoon. Why doing research on there tanks I came across there concept tanks and fell in love with the drop off style tank. Over the years I have had a lot of different tanks and have always bought my tanks used it was hard swallowing the price tag on this tank but really wanted something different.
Equipment:
Tank: Innovative Marine AIO Abyss Panorama 20 gallon
Lights: Kessil A160
Controller: A- series Kessil Spectral
Return Pump: Mightyjet desktop
Power Head: Jebao SW-8
Rock: Tonga Dry Rock & Pukani Dry Rock
Sand: Caribbean Fiji Pink
Stand: Franklin Cabinet (Kirkland’s)
Filtration: 2 CustomCaddy Media Baskets
ATO: Hydrofill Ti - ATO Controller System
ATO Reservoir:- Hydrofill Ti
Heater: Marina 100 Watt
Temperature controller: Inkbird ITC-306T

I am new to the all in one tanks so looking for any advice what to add to my media baskets after my tank cycles. Looking to keep a low bio load mixed reef so no skimmer for now.

I am hooked on the drop off tanks and I am getting a costume stand made for the Peninsula right now. Should have it in about 2 weeks will post when I get it.

Hello all! I just down graded to a IM 20 Peninsula from a 50 gal. The drop-off style has always appealed to me, but I have 1 question. The stock return is quite loud is there any recommended replacement pumps that will fit the peninsula style tank?
