There are a number of great choices when it comes to aquariums these days. That said, Innovative Marine's Concept Aquarium Series have brought hobbyists a whole new world of possibilities!

The Abyss Concept aquariums, available in Peninsula or Panorama orientations, are particular stand outs. Aquarists can create a small aquarium with multiple biomes, such as a reef drop off with a reef crest zone and a lagoon zone.

Whole new aquascaping options are opened with the originality of their design, freeing hobbyists to artistically create instead of being constrained to a traditional rectangular box.

We thought we would start a thread where Concept Aquarium owners can post photos of their tanks, share tips, equipment choices, etc.

We'll start with our own Concept Abyss Peninsula Drop Off Aquarium:

Congratulations on the new tank! Thank you for diving into our thread! I'm sharing your pic here ... just cause. ;) A little eye candy always helps, even if it is a blank slate.

Planning a new aquarium is sooooooooo much fun! We actually used a little bookshelf from IKEA for this build since IM doesn't make a stand for this tank.

Hello! I'm ne around here but I'll play!
I have a Nuvo Fuison 20g.
I am running stock everything at the moment! Just getting done with the cycle.
Currently using Ehiem 75w heater
18 pounds of BRS Reef saver rock
20 pounds of live Reefflakes.

I plan to buy and upgrade to:
2 AI Prime HD LEDs
2 custom IM Caddies. 1 will be turned into a
mini fuge with a small clip on LED to grow cheato.
1 Jebao PP-4 wave maker (should be here tomorrow)
1 unknown ATO.. have decided on which one yet.
thinking about upgrading the stock return pump.

I really love this tank. This is my first saltwater tank and I really enjoy the simplicity of this tank. The low iron glass makes it extremely visually pleasing. I look forward to the future with this thing!

No critters as of yet but I'm planning:
2 perc clowns
1 watchman goby
1 candy cane pistol shrimp
Small CUC with snails and maybe one or 2 crabs.

As far as corals go I plan to start with some easy softies and go from there!

Any feedback of upgrade recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I am having a blast!
Hoping to start ordering some of the items above this weekend and continue my search for a stand!
I think this has a real possibility of being a really beautiful tank so want to make sure that I plan it out correctly.
So, we can use this thread for questions too, right?

Edit: Bookshelf? You have on the wall?

Yup, that's precisely why we started this thread!

We wanted to round up all the NUVO Concept Aquarium owners in one place so we can help and inspire each other. :D

Hey everyone! Crystal here :) Here is mine & my husbands IM Peninsula Drop Off! It's been up and running since 8/28/16. We got everything from the one and only Marine Depot except for thr fish and coral [emoji173] It's not much right now but when we get a new light we hope to add a nice variety of coral to it. We have a beautiful pair of Sea&Reef Phantom Clown fish and a Tail Spot Benny, along with a few corals. Absolutely love this tank!! We also have a 200gal DD but I'll have to discuss that somewhere else lol.
