Fortunately, yes I think I can. We have drop ceilings in the basement so the joists are accessible. I think I am going to hire someone to come look at it and let them do that as I don't feel comfortable doing it myself. I just hope it's not going to be an issue that the tank is already filled with water lol. Thanks for your advice.

You can brace it yourself, just need one extra hand. I used 2x support beams I purchased from Lowes around $50-60 a piece.

How often do you guys clean the bubble trap sponge in the sump, or do you guys not use it at all?

Used to clean it anput once a month but i started cutting a long/narrow piece of polyfilter and placing it on top. Have only touched it once now since December. Just replace the poly every week or two.

It also makes cleaning the skimmer chamber super simple. Just blast a turkey baster all over the place and let it overflow before swapping the poly.

I dose in the return chamber using a tube holder. positioning may be easier for me since i put my cabinet together upside down making the rear opening on the left instead of the right.

So who here has a 350 and a Ecotech M1 and has measured their water at output level nozzle? What settings are you using to get such measured water? (save me some time trying to measure my own)

Also, the 350 sps keepers with radion g4s, what settings have you guys got it at?\

Would like to see how you guys got flowing going for sps as well with the baffle stuck in the middle.

Has anyone gone from two 250 gyres to two neptune wavs? i'm not really liking the flow pattern of the gyres on this tank like I did my old 120.

That's why I ended up throwing in 2x mp40 and gyres on the back wall.

Quick overdue update. My family and I went to Florida for a week and while we were gone I setup a laptop with teamviewer installed so I can log into my laptop from my phone and view the tank. Was nice to be able to see the tank and run the Neptune AFS at the same time and make sure the fish were fed. Aside from that the RAIN2 has been in the tank for awhile now and it is growing algae. It took it a few weeks to start the process, I haven't opened the hood and looked for a week or so now. Was running the RAIN2 off of a MJ1200, redid my manifold and now have it running off of my VarioS-6 pump along with the Marine Depot XS AquaMaxx reactor.

Santa Monica RAIN2 has been installed and running for a few weeks now -

This new nozzle is much better, it fit nice and snug on the reefer return and it built much better in general. I am working on a video now on it, my biggest concern is how far down I have to point it to stop the surface turbulence. With it being down so far and no siphon break that I know of there is the potential to drain a lot of water. I will be testing this theory out hopefully tonight.
