This new nozzle is much better, it fit nice and snug on the reefer return and it built much better in general. I am working on a video now on it, my biggest concern is how far down I have to point it to stop the surface turbulence. With it being down so far and no siphon break that I know of there is the potential to drain a lot of water. I will be testing this theory out hopefully tonight.

Looking good @pelphrey! Let us know when you get that video up. I'm interested in seeing how that thing works.

Think I posted in here about my tank springing a leak in the silicone on the front viewing pane. Just wanted to update, that Red Sea was very prompt in handling this issue and the new tank was here a week after making contact with customer service.
Replacement tank is up and running.

@cmcoker I hate that you had to go through that, the idea of removing the rocks (even though mine are 2 large structures) let alone the sand! I guess the trade off is not having to worry about the tank leaking! Props to Red Sea for the customer service! You take the leaking tank to the dump and throw it away?

Man. That sucks about the leaky seam. How old was the tank? Was it level? I'm waiting on my 750 any day now. I've read through this thread and have gotten some good ideas.

What under cabinet lighting are some of you running? I would prefer leds.

I'll post up as soon as my 750 arrives.

It's on Craigslist for $50, clearly stating it's leaking and not suitable for water. Would still be ok for a terrarium or whatever those people do with no water, haha. I dont really have a way to get it to a dump. It's sitting in my storage closet.

The sand wasn't too bad. I shoveled as much as I could into a bucket. I had a bunch of red sea 55g salt buckets laying around, so plopped one of them in a 5 g bucket siphoned out sand into it, let dirty water run over into 5g. Pull sand bucket out, dump water repeat. I only had to do that 3 times to get it all. Then shop vac the last inch of water. The whole transfer thing sucks in general, but at least I have a functioning tank now.

I had a week of planning it out in my head so overall it went pretty smoothly.

Tank was purchase in December and setup 12/26/2016.

Yes it's level. I double checked as soon as it started leaking, thinking maybe it settled and I hadn't noticed. I also checked the stand for level during break down, new tank for level after setup.

I have a 350 and I'm using a Vectra M1 and Radion G4s.

I'm running my M1 at 70% and with my Apex FFM I get 277gph to the display, 100gph to my Zeovit reactor and 100gph to my refugium.
I also have a manifold that adds to my head pressure as well.

As for settings on the G4, I'm using one of the coral lab SPSAB settings and I extended the photoperiod, max intensity is 63%. I have mine turned back to front.

For under cabinet LED lighting I am using this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HO1FK52 I had the smaller one (20 led), but just replaced it this week. Not to mention I went through a few of the smaller ones. Charging port broke on them after a few uses. Then when taking it down last week to charge it I dropped it in the sump

I'd prefer 110v. I'll have to look around and see what's available.

Thanks.

I changed the ATO to a refugium the other night. It's actually doing good and the drilling of the glass was easier than I thought. I have never drilled glass before and was really nervous about it. I feel comfortable now could probably even drill something bigger.

First time post. Set up my Reefer 250 Deluxe a few months ago. Wanted to get some constructive criticism. Kudos accepted as well.

I know just enough to get myself in trouble. Still figuring out dosing. Trying to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks

I just ordered my reefer 450, now I'm trying to figure out which lighting I should go with and how many lights. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
