Finally added my Neptune DOS and DDR. I was pleased wen I realized I could squeeze it in behind my control panel.... as I didn't want to have to mount it in the basement.

No, you want part # 42221. Don’t worry about what unit they say they go to. Your modifying it anyway. With 42221 you will unscrew the nipple end and then screw in a 3/4” pipe thread PVC adapter.

Thanks!! That is the Crystal Reef Aquatics RSR250 Triton sump, I am not running triton! Unfortunately I believe they are out of business now.

If you are talking about the apex diagram he used the fusion dashboard. You can login to fusion using a web browser and the IP address of your apex and get that dashboard.

Hey Phil thanks for your channel first of all! Second, I have the RSR250 also and I want to build a wall between the sump (standard Red Sea sump that cane with the system) and the right side. What materials could I use? I’d like to have a second wall built like in the picture so when you open the doors, on the right side there’s a wall facing you so you basically open the door and insta fly all your controllers are right there in front of you. Thanks for any advice! Also, do you run any uv sterilizer son your system? I have an emperor aquatics 25 watt which is about 27 inches, but can’t figure out a way to neatly hook it up. Thanks again!

I initially mounted a white board to the wall behind my tank (where the chiller opening in the stand is). Then I built a cabinet that now sits to the right of my tank.

Just about finished building the insert for under the tank. Need to pickup the grommets and let the paint cure for another day or two.

Does anyone have suggestions for running filter floss on a Red Sea max E170?

Water flows in under the the filter tray which makes filter floss pretty ineffective.

any upgrades or solutions to this issue?
