I purchased nothing. My tank is at a point that anything I purchased would have been hundreds of dollars. Given that most of the MAP discounts are at 10%, I‘m having a hard time spending $300 or $600 to save $30 or $60. The hit on the credit card and potential interest doesn’t make it worthwhile. If I was building out a new tank, that would be a different story altogether!

Those are my big ones. However we are setting up a new tank. My son wants fish for christmas so he has three new fish picked out for our tank. He converted his Christmas request for his grandparents from a computer to fish.

We are working on getting our chemistry right on the new tank before the fish are ordered.

Way too much! I picked up all my usual years worth of supplies discounted. Some were harder to find like ATI T5 bulbs and IO 200g boxes. I even had to hold out till today to get discounts on Hikari frozen food.

I got lucky and Ecotech didn’t run a sale. I was thinking about picking up an XR15, so that saved me more than $500! ;Woot

For swag, I didn’t get too much this year. Got a few things from BRS like a ski hat, ball cap and sweatshirt.

I still need to calculate total savings, but it was definitely worth waiting for this time of year.

I bought a Sicce 9.0 with WiFi, I love the app but it sounds like a car is running under my aquarium? I thought they were supposed to be really silent. Has anybody else had that issue?
