This was “my boy” Toby. He was my sidekick and BFF for almost 17 years. Unfortunately, we had to have him put to sleep in November of 2016. He will be close to me forever.

my grandmother was an artist so I added a some elements of her artwork to part of my left arm sleeve. It’s the circular part in the middle, the colors and patterns were typical of her abstract work. Looks odd to most people until they know what it’s for.

this is the other side, which still needs another sitting or two to finish layering, but it’s the pillars of creation, nebulae where stars are born

and the other arm, I had tempus fugit (time flies) with an hourglass to remind me to make the most of each day because life is too short
