I keep a female and am on flight home with a male in checked luggage:)
An hoping he will make it as last one didn't make the shipment for some reason.
Beautiful fish. I've seen a tank with a male and 2 tiny females as well as a large tank with 3 males that looked amazing.

They do seem a bit more shy than other Cirrhilabrus. Wouldn't call them difficult.

~Bruce

I'd be adding it last to: 2 ocellaris, bangaii cardinal, orchid dottyback, springer damsel, midas blenny, lyretail anthias, and red line wrasse.. and now that I've typed out all those names I'm feeling I might be at max.

I was just at an LFS that had one, he said it's a super cool fish, but he said it was shy too. They sure are beautiful, though.

They don't school, but rather shoal in nature. However this doesn't work out in captivity.

Thank you for correcting me! So they are more like surgeonfish rather than chromis...

1 week in the new tank and eating everything... There is no better feeling for me, than seeing a happy fish;Happy I can’t stop looking at him and his incredible colors... No filter needed... If I only can find black worms in Canada now....

So, I went at my LFS to buy some tubing, but bought this as soon as I saw it. LOL

Look how vivid the color is. For 50 bucks, who can say no?! Hahaha

Only $50?! Nice! I've been seeing these on Liveaquaria (Divers Den) for north of $150. $200 for some. How big? Still doing well?

Beautiful fish everyone. I have a chance to buy a nice male for 150 and a cirrhilabrus cf. pylei male for 80 and debating on what to do. Not sure on normal price for these 2.
