Carpets pythons are beautiful and rarely do I meet someone truly capable of caring for one. Good job! Pm more pics please. This is one my wife said no to.
I bought this python in 2004 as a hatchling about as thick as my pinkie and a foot long. She was a little snappy like all baby’s but after a few months of feeding and bonding she has never bitten me out of anger in 16 years. I do have to be really careful now as when she is hungry it will come out of the door very aggressively and if I don’t have food I use something big like a plastic bottle to touch her nose with then I can safely handle her once she knows food is not an option. She is roughly 13ft now and has a very large enclosure. The photo with white eyes is a week before shedding its an oil produced between old and new skin to help shed

I managed to get a rainbow boa through the door. Only because he needed a new home though. He’s a bit touchy. Hasn’t ever offered to bite but I handle with respect and avoid looking (and smelling) like a rat. 3954C916-947E-4FB6-91F5-28C1D346B6E3.jpeg
