love it! Hey it sounds like it makes you happy and that’s all that matters. I’d be out in the shed all day hahaWow, all you kids with your fancy sumps. I'm still rocking a home made 75 gallon with a disorganized cable mess in a shed.![]()

Dungeoness crab? lolI keep sump monsters. Not sure if this helps.![]()
I love how you have all of this mapped out in your head! Sounds like it’s gonna be a really nice setup once it’s finished. What size tank is it going under?![]()
Just picked up my new sump last night.
Starting from the top right corner: 2x 1” bulk heads for two emergency drains, 3/4” bulkhead for UV return. Drains into a “crash box with a removable baffle, bio media will be in this area.
This feed to the large section for the AFR (ReefMat 1200) which will be hard plumbed. Section also contains probe holder.
Lower center large section will hold Skimmer, heaters and an Algae Reactor (Tunze 3181?). Dosing will be done in this section as well.
Water exits in the top left of this section into a cryptic fuge area, flows through a babble trap into a return section with two 1” bulkheads. Undecided if to run UV off of separate pump or run two returns and incorporate a manifold.
Far left is built in ATO reservoir (14g)
1/2 hour to 45 mins a night. It's pretty autopilot at this point. I can safely Go on vacation for a couple of weeks and have no problems.love it! Hey it sounds like it makes you happy and that’s all that matters. I’d be out in the shed all day haha
I've thought about it but so far I haven't found another option, this stand doesn't come divided and so I have to improvise.I love this set up! Do you ever worry about salt corroding your electronics?
