Hi everyone, I think it would be beneficial and really cool to see everyone’s sump set ups. I believe it could help inspire those who are just starting out and trying to get some ideas on how to set up their system. I’ll start with mine

Wow! It looks like a laboratory under your tank haha. I love the set up! What’re you dosing?

The main doser (3 dosing heads) is on the right hand side near electrics section and so are the 3x5L dosing bottles are. There is also an Alk Monitor A next to that main doser.

Then above the sump level I have 2x more dosers (3 heads each) and an Alk Monitor B.

Doser 1 (Main, electrics section):
1. Sodium Carbonate
2. Sodium Hydroxide
3. Calcium Carbonate

Doser 1 (sump):
1. Iron
2. Manganese
3. Potassium

Doser 3 (sump):
1. Magnesium
2. Ammonium Chloride
3. Iodine

Alk monitor A sends DKH test results every 3 hours, Alk monitor B sends DKH test results every 6 hours (non-overlapping hours with Alk Monitor A).

I love how you have all of this mapped out in your head! Sounds like it’s gonna be a really nice setup once it’s finished. What size tank is it going under?

Tank is 48x30x27 around 170g display

here's my 40 breeder sump. I went with a kit from Modular Marine. I need to finish my controller cabinet so I clean up the rats nest of wires.

It is but notice the number on the meter; it stopped working after six months. It was $150 from Assured Automation so really not worth the price. I did get my flow rate dailed in though.

I’m jealous that you are able to set all that up! I’m still trying to figure out what I’m doing when it comes to the dosing but luckily Coralvue has helped a bunch with my doser. I might have some questions for you in the future

It’s looking really good under there so far! Where’d you get the little shelf piece propping up your protein skimmer?
