I'm interested in these stands.
Are they real expensive
Will they hold the weight of larger tanks?

Here's my 150 on it's new stand. Framingtech is great, I love it, it was easy to put together and it's very sturdy.

I'm in communication with them "Anthony" and they seem like very top notch guys. I've got two tank stand in mind and may do the white semi gloss powder coat. Was it difficult to assemble together?

Piece of cake. Just take it slow and think as to what pieces go first. Generally speaking you have to slide in the cross members in first before tightening the end pieces.

I started with the top being upside-down, and built from there. Once it was all done we flipped it over.

Don't go nuts tightening it all down until you finish building - once all assembled, just tighten it all tight.

Have fun.

How much was your 200 gallon stand if you don't mind me asking?

Here is my new frag tank stand from F&L Industrial Solutions. They were absolutely fantastic to work with. Outstanding communication and very helpful in every regard. Highly recommended. I also really like that they offer custom cut starboard sheets so you don't have to deal with creating your own with plywood which would not be so easy for the bottom panel especially that requires cutouts for the legs.

I like the idea of the T-Slot, but I hate the visible slot (go figure). I see some of you are skinning the outside, can someone take pics or detail how they’re doing it? Or are there extrusions designed without a visible a lot on the front face?

T slot is available with smooth facing. See photo I just posted of my stand above.

You can get smooth faced extrusions.

I just attach wood using the paneling corner brackets

I didn’t know that - last time I checked on that stuff it was a while ago, it had slots on all faces. This... may be something for me to look into now - thanks for making me think of spending all the money [emoji57]

I started on my 55 gallon upgrade. I got some scrap t-slot from work (1.75" square).
At 4' long should handle the weight of the tank without center supports.
