I thought this was going to end bad so I separated them as soon as I saw this. This Lobo had a mouth full of hammer tentacle and I knew it would only be a minute before that Lobo attacked. It sends out mesenterial filaments anytime it's disturbed.

Yes, an orange plate. He jumped off the frag rack (that was/is keeping the plates safe from hermits) and landed on the frogspawn. No one was injured.
I don't have photos of this, but once he was back on the sand, he slowly moved towards the duncan and he hurt the duncans tentacles, orange plate was unharmed.

so i'm suspicious that some of my corals might be doing this, but have never caught them in the act. how late do i have to stay up to see stuff like this going down? and what are your light schedules (what times do you set your lights to go off/on?) and approximately what time do you see this happening?

Had a nice millie fall ontop of my "bed of chalices" Wasn't a pretty sight in the morning... Lost about 2-3 inches off my 5inch colony -_-

I separated these two and moved the lobo to a shaded spot under monti cap. Came home a couple days ago and the lobo had attacked the monti!
