So 600+ is needed to get the pinks and oranges? Not sure I can do that with my hydras. Was hoping maybe was a low nutrient issue. Anyone have any luck with nice colors with just LEDs?
Another important variable is most of the pics of WD with blues and pinks are orange filtered and taken under blues/actinics.

Mine is like shag carpet day or night with almost zero NO3 and low PO4. I'm also feeding 3, sometimes 4 times a day so they aren't deprived of nutrients I'd like to think.
Still frag size but going in the right direction I hope. I'm horrible with pics lol

Still a nub but growing and coloring up. Around 450 par under modified Black Boxes.

I should also clarify that this is not with an orange filter. It was shot with my wifes DSLR through a top down viewer which is why there is a blue light glare in the middle of the picture. All I did was adjust the temp to get rid of the blue light. This piece is really this color in person.

Nice. Could you list your nutrient levels/parameters?

Nice. Could you list your nutrient levels/parameters?

Alk - 8dKh
Cal - 420
Mag - 1440
SG - 1.026-1.027

Haven't tested NO3 and PO4 in a month or so as everything looks good and has been growing. Try to keep NO3 around 5-10ppm and PO4 around .05 if possible.
