Hi all,

I have come home from work this evening to find my fox face laying flat under a rock.

I have had it around 2 weeks but unfortunately didn't quarantine it before adding to main tank.

In a scramble this evening, I have moved it into a small tank with some of the water from main tank and a piece of live rock.

PH - 8.2
Kh - 9
Nh3/Nh4- 0
No2 - 0
No3 - 5
P04 - 0
Salinity - 35

I think I'm clutching at straws really but any ideas?

Any pictures in other tank? Is something beating it up? Any noticeable differences?
Nothing that we've noticed. There is a 3" regal tang but they haven't bothered each other at all.

Possibly a sting from BTA but I haven't seen it near them either

Can you post a short video so I can judge its respiration rate?

Thanks - the breathing isn't super elevated, I just wanted to rule out Amyloodinium/velvet, as that kills so quickly....

For some reason with out any obvious signs. This fish seems afraid of something. Possibly the lights freaking it out? If its an anemone sting I would think it might leave a mark.
Okay thanks.

The light are fairly poor and are a bog standard led light. Possibly left on for too long as well.

I have another tank at home that has a full spectrum light and is in a quiet room. The problem is there are a couple of a**hole ocellaris clowns in the and I'm worried they'd attack it
