Thank you, appreciate you taking the time!
I feed about this much everyday to my 50g. I always grind it up in between my fingers in the water until my fingers feel clean

I think you're talking about AEFW and not white bugs.

I got an Rx from a local fish Dr. I am dosing interceptor (no prazi) at 1 large pill / 50g. So with 315g, I'll dose about 6.5 large tablets. I'll do this 3x. And then every 6mo thereafter. I'm following this from someone else who has been doing it successfully.
This is how i do it as well. Close to every 6 months after. I mix both the chews and pills since my vet pharmacy caps me on the pills.

Vermatids, spirobid/spionid, and prophylaxis for new bugs or aefw. My tank loves whatever it’s doing

I’ve noticed a lot less digitate hydroids as well.
Wow thats awesome, you notice a genuine effect on spirobids?

No
All of my spirobid/spionid worms mysteriously disappeared a couple years ago. All of them. Havent seen one in years. But according to Chris from aci the flakes are effective on those and vermatids.

Thanks! I’m receiving mine today. I’m always willing to try new things… more so from a recommendation from people with frags of your caliber. Huge PE. That I want.

No, I'm in Michigan. I used this site to find one, I was sus at first, but it worked!

I called one and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He's working with a local pharmacy to compound it with the needed strength and no prazi. Kinda cool!

I'm interested in the food above, I too saw the video by pirates reef. From my understanding it helps more with aefw than white/red/black bugs. I asked him about vermited and he said that was tbd. I have a ton of vermited so would love to see if it works to destroy those jerks.
What vet did you use? I’m in Michigan also. Have no idea if I have bugs or not but my polyp extension is down very low and I have recently lost a few colony’s to stn, is it worth it to preventatively treat the tank? Are there any downsides to trying it?

I'll PM you the vet's info. Consult was $71. I am doing 6 doses at 6 pills/dose which is running me about $400. Note, these are the milbemycin oxime tablets, no prazi.

My PE is (was) low and I was getting random STN's too. I will 'nuke' the tank, then do refreshers every 6mo. You'll also want to quarantine any incoming sps and treat with interceptor. Downsides to me, none, not really. You'll lose all pods (they come back) and any crabs/shrimp. Other than that, the tank loves it.

Does not affect snails or the bacteria in the tank?
