This sounds crazy but I was thinking of having a Single / Pair of OSFF in a 20 gallon (UNS 60U)? It/they would be the only fish in the tank, Macro Algae / NPS Sea Fan dominate. I would either get them from Divers Den or a LFS, both I know take frozen and pellets. Im probably going to upgrade the tank in a year or so to something of more of a 40-55, so would this be able to work?

Everyone I mean everyone is going to disagree with me but yes if your upgrading in a year to a 40-55 and their gonna be the only fish in the tank. I have had mine for years and once you get them eating they are very easy to care for. I am very experienced with this fish so if you have any questions ask away!

Awesome, thank you so much! 2 questions about feeding, do you find yourself feeding a bit of acropora every once here and there? I heard that they might need to have some acropora as a part of their diet. Also what have you found they like the best? I was thinking about feeding them TDO Chromaboost, Masstick I heard works, and then Mysis and live bbs

Your feeding plan sounds great its really the first few months you need to feed some acropora and during that time you should slowly wean them on to the diet you have planned after they are fully weaned on to the diet you pretty much just give them some acropora here and there afterwards they are a very interactive fish mine love to eat out of my hand. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

I have 4, they LOVE Masstick. All began eating it on day 1. It’s great because they can graze on it over time as well. There are also some specialty pellets for corilavores that I feed mine. Panta Rhei Polyp and Panta Rhei Sponge. My 4 pretty much eat anything they can fit in their mouths now.
