Good morning all,
This morning I noticed a single white spot on one of my clowns. Located just below the dorsal fin about .5 cm. I wanted to get a jump on it as soon as possible in case it’s worse than I anticipate. No changes in behavior or eating habits. See attached photos below. Identification or help is appreciated.
Thanks

Pics a little too blue to tell but could also be the start of brooklynella
Any hazy cloudiness to its color?
Unusual behavior or breathing?

No cloudiness to color.
No unusual behavior or breathing trouble. I took the photos with my iPhone. When accessing the forums with my phone, if I click on the image it gets clearer. Any recommendations for a better photo?

Lens filters for phones
Orphek or Amazon
Makes a huge difference. Even lens against orange glasses

Ok I can do that. Would doing a fresh water dip help anything? I’m worried I might miss something since I will be away from my tank for about 4 weeks due to a health issue and leaving it in a family members care.

Depends on what is going on, it could just stress and hurt the fish needlessly.

Has the dot moved around at all? Any bad Params or Param swings? Any new livestock?

Keep a close eye on the dot, its possible to have a hitchhiker off their shells.

params seem to be fine, when were these taken? If it was a few days I would recommend checking again

Please don't freshwater dip, that is very stressful on the fish.

Clown's are very hardy so feed it well and the problem will probably go away.

i don't know what the spot is, but sometimes fish get pimples just like us.

Regards
Graham.

Thanks, I decided not too. I’m just going to monitor. The other clown has nothing on it, and it’s not affecting behavior. I’m just a little nervous due to me being away from the tank for a while.
