Other than their own Nuvo DC desktop skimmer, what other brand name skimmers would fit in back chamber? Dim : 3.58" L x 2.58" W x 9.84" T.

If you pop the magnet off you can drop a Tunze 9001 into chamber two. It’s one of the better quality skimmers that will fit. I used one in both a NUVO 10 and 20....
Looking to do this, as I already have the Tunze 9001 from the 10g I just upgraded to the NUVO 20.
LOVE this little skimmer and I just couldn't get it to fit.
Just pop the magnet off and it'll fit? Any photos?

Hi- No pics as this Nuvo 10 has grown into a 90 gallon display over the years. I did find some reference pics when I did the conversion, so they are out there on the internet somewhere. Good luck!!!

No worries, I was able to pop the magnet off and stick it right into the second chamber, and worked great! Glad I was able to find this tidbit! Thanks!

Hi, could you share how you removed the magnet without damaging tge unit?
Remove the Magnet attached to the skimmer by pressing down on the tabs to release

Take the extra thinner magnet

Glue the magnet (thinner) to the skimmer in the rear side (centered) of body using a Weld-On 16 or two-part epoxy for aquariums

Then align in the middle back of the chamber (middle chamber) and use the magnet detached to keep it in place
