Just curious what skimmer you guys are using on the Peninsula 7225 or Pro 220.6 for a mixed reef?
I am considering the Nyos Quantum 160. Big enough?
Any other skimmer you use and really happy about?
Thanks for any input

I have the Nyos 160 on my 6026. 5' version of the tanks you are considering. I think the skimmer is big enough (I constantly have 0 nutrients), but this skimmer has been a HUGE pain to dial in. I would go a different option if starting over. The Nyos appears to be high quality and looks cool but it's been a pain for me.

I have a Nyos 160 on a Waterbox 170.4/5. My feeling is that it’s a bit large for what I consider to be a medium/high bio load. Lot’s of fish and about 4-5 cubes per day. I’d say what bio load are you planning?

I’ve been trying to dial in my Nyos for 1 year. I do not feel like I have it dialed in yet.
