Over the past 12+ years at World Wide Corals we have built our reputation on outstanding customer service and for having some of the most sought-after collectable corals in the aquarium industry. We have a very busy retail store located in Orlando Florida that is open to the pubic 7 days a week as well as a very successful on-line store called worldwidecorals.com where we ship 1000’s of boxes of live corals annually. We have always been big believers in preserving the reef, so we are big into propagating corals and sustainable practices. Based off that belief, a few years back we opened a large state of the art indoor coral farm where we aquaculture our own corals.

What many people do not know is that we also have an aquarium and installation division part of WWC. Over the years we have done a lot of basic aquarium installation as well as several major custom projects. Two years ago, one of our great long-time customers took a trip down to visit us in Orlando with the site plans of his amazing new beach front home. In the new dream home plan, the plan includes a huge peninsula style display tank that is located on the second floor of the home. The tank over looks the Atlantic Ocean. On the first floor the plans call for a dedicated ‘fish room” that encompasses another large display tank, water filtration system, 2 RO water vats, 2 frag tanks, and work area with sink. Our customer expressed to us that he wanted WWC to handle the project. We were very elated that he chose us for his amazing project. It took us few hours of asking questions and trying to get a clear understanding of the project, but we finally nailed down a game plan!

Fast forward 2 years later to March 2019 and now the house is almost completed, the tanks are in place. However, there is still a lot more to be done before things are completed. We recently decided that we wanted to share this project with the aquarium masses, so over the next several weeks we will be updating this thread with pics and info so please follow along and feel free to ask questions.

Preliminary drawings for location of main display tank. The home owner explained to us that the main display tank will be located on the 2nd floor. We knew it was time to start to thinking logistics!

Some forward movement after long discussions with the home owners, these were the 3D renderings that we came up with for the 1st floor display tank/fish room. Another huge plus is that we can create these renderings here at WWC using our in house graphic designers.

@WWC
What happened to the other custom install thread you were doing? I never saw any posts after the aquascape.

Here is the link for the thread you are referring to.

We would like to apologize, over the last several months there has been some scheduling conflicts between us and the owner. Our goal is to update the thread with multiple photos within the next 30 days. Stay tuned!

Road trip! Here we go driving over the inter coastal water way for our first visit to the installation site to take measurements, pictures, and get a visual for how these systems will be laid out.

Its always a good day when the Atlantic Ocean is your back yard! What a view! This house is currently under construction. We are working with our client's general contractor to make sure that everything goes as planned. We at WWC, take the extra steps needed to make sure everything is spot on and done professionally the right way!

"Its always a good day when the Atlantic Ocean is your back yard!"

*Except during hurricane season;)
LOL! Luckily, this house was built for hurricanes!!! Pretty much bullet proof windows etc. They pulled out all the stops here! I'd be shocked if you could even hear the wind during a Cat5 ;Nailbiting.

This tank will have its own ocean view and will be located on the 2 nd floor of the house. Being
located on the second floor means we are going to have to get a crane or some type of lift to get the
tank into the 2 nd floor of the house.

Here is the 2 nd floor deck where we will have to receive the tank on delivery day.

We are still several months out from doing the finish on the main tank. However we are super excited to share this. Last week we received the concept design drawings from Florida Design for the finish work on the stand and canopy. This is for the main tank located on the 2nd floor. They are working closely with the home owner to make sure this finish work is designed to match the kitchen cabinetry perfectly. We look forward to seeing this design a reality.
