So Ive had this slimy green algae in my reef tank for a couple weeks now. I keep siphoning out most of it pretty easily and then a couple days later it comes back. I’ve been doing 20% WC every 2 weeks and running a dual reactor with GFO and carbon.
Tank - Red sea 170
Heavy coral stock
5 fish in the tank
Nitrate - 0
Phosphate- around 0.05 or so
Light feeding
Running a protein skimmer
Everything looks perfect and clean just that algae
Light - 1 hydra26hd everything 100% / 0 on red, green and whites / mounted 14 inches off the water
Good amount for clean up crew and variety
(Snails / crab / hermit crab / sand sifting star)
any suggestions or products that will get rid of it and what type of algae is it?
