Hi there - I’ve seen this creature in my tank a couple times now but at first I thought maybe it was just a part of the rock or something - but now I’ve actually seen it move. It comes out at night only but I’m not sure what it is. It seems to hide in the rocks during the day.

Picture isn’t great as usual - sorry!

Umm can't make it out from picture and I'm not that experienced but will bump this question to the top for you and add a guess of look up stomatella snail but has it got a shell? You say slug or some sort of sponge so guessing you see no shell ? So cant be stomatella if so

It doesn’t appear to have a shell no. It looks almost like a slug or a moving sponge (if there is such a thing?)

thanks for the bump!

Yep you guys were right. It came out fully and I got a good look at it. I couldn’t see antenna or a shell before but that was because of the grey coloration. It’s also much larger than they were previously - so I guess that’s a good sign
