This one has us totally stumped. I wanna say slug. First time sighting in system. It crawls along and moves pretty fast not entirely sure what to think.

Throw it in with the shrooms;). I kid I kid... Never seen such a dark colored nudie, what did it eat to give it that color is my next question. what do you think it came in on?

Had to come on gulf live rock. Have 200 lbs split up between the 2 reservoirs.
Wife discovered several urchins last night as well.
Only thing I can think it my wife changed out some carbon during nitrate overdose and did not rinse it well. Some of the sponges in that res did turn a darker color.

Crabs hit it. It is a nudibranch of the Hallaxa species and consumes soft slimy sponge and grows large. You have a decision to make and sump is best place right now

Yeah I dont like it. I also dont like that it almost could be mistaken for a shroom. At first glance that's what I thought it was.
It is in sump. After doing a little research it looks like it may be able to expel toxins.
Going to look for it at lights out and dip it in RODI. To many unknowns

i would also be concerned about eggs/babies getting back into system, ;) unsure if mate is needed to reproduce
