So a week ago I got some green star polyps from my lfs and this morning I woke up to find this little fella hanging out above them. At first I thought a polyp had gotten disattached but it has too many tentacles to be a gsp. Anyone have any idea what it is?

My first thought was hydroids, but I'm doing some digging and they appear to maintain circular symmetry, whereas yours look irregular. ;Bored

Thank you for digging. I came upon hydroid too, also was thinking it could be a baby aiptasia. Both sounded bad, but I wanted an better opinion before I removed it

Aptasia is a possibility, but I'm not sure how good of a possibility. Do you have a frag tank? You could always remove the GSP to there and watch it for a free weeks to see what it's trying to give your tank. ;)
