Hey everyone I was in my sump today messing around and found these little snail or half clam like creatures and I’ve done some googling but can’t figure out what they are. It is maybe a little over 1/8 inch wide and a 1/16 in thick.

Just looked that up and your right! I’ve never noticed them before and today just seen them everywhere in the sump. I’ll take anything that eats up the algae ;)

I was just reading up about them and it says they are very unlikely to breed in a home aquarium but.... I have probably a hundred or so in the sump. They wouldn’t last long in the main display with the wrasse and humo trigger.
