This does look like a good choice I’m gonna need a pump to run it though I believe? The Coralife UV is likely a good, cheap option for QT. Budget friendly and designed for smaller tanks.

This might be better for what you are using since this one has its own pump
I used the GKM 9w, worked great! Note: the replacement bulbs are pretty much the cost of the unit because of the design. So thats
not great...
This GKM 9w looks easy and cheap what I am wondering is it powerful enough for free floating parasites? Algae I am not too worried about but since this is a QT tank id like it to have enough "oomf" for both.I dont normally peruse PETCO for professional reefing gear BUT I noticed a small unit made by Fluval (UVC inline clarifier)
it was about $100 and a small inline unit….
IMO the biggest consideration is/are replacement parts like bulbs and reliability …
Anyway, it was definitely PETCO
The flow rate is pretty slow, which is what you want. This GKM 9w looks easy and cheap what I am wondering is it powerful enough for free floating parasites? Algae I am not too worried about but since this is a QT tank id like it to have enough "oomf" for both.
