@LiverockRocks ? Hard to get a good pic... His eyes are down and to the right of the white shell. He's sticking out of the rock. I knew I was hearing clicking noises that I didn't before the live rock!

Nice! I have tons of weird little crab hitchhikers that I'm worried about, so I think I'll try to catch him
Yes, he will become a problem. I’m trying to remove also, however, many of those weird little crab will also be a problem when they are not little anymore.

tell take sign is if you here a clacking/popping sound, but it looks like a mantis to me as well.

Mine are notoriously hard to catch, and i've stopped trying for the time being.

Yeesh. No fish at the moment, so I've got time to try to catch it
Oh ya man…..remove that thing unless he’s all you want to keep alive.

The good news is he’s not to smart, is not an overly agile swimmer, not fast. I got mine with a net at night. I disturbed his “lair” he came out and DONE!

Will start with rock dwellers, while they rest at night.

An accomplished hunter.

Weird. Mine were FAST, and I had 3, only caught one.

Since the tank transfer, I got rid of one of the remaining ones as it came out of the live rock.

But I still have one, and it has punched me once. I'm pretty sure I know where his cave is, and I'm contemplating covering it with coral putty.

What’s worse is I’ve never ever used any live rock.
Must have come with a coral as a tiny baby.
