Hey y'all

Long time hobbyist, long time member of R2R.
I am told you need a tank thread to enter the WaterBox drawing.
The second image is my humble little Nuvo 14 gallon with no bells or whistles, none, nope,nada...
Lighting Viperspectra 165 watts.
One Clown Fish, two snail, two frags.
I will be adding an ATO soon. Hopefully adding more corals next.
Chem maintained with parts A B.
Tank has been running since Nov 2018.

Well lets see where this goes, creating a thread is the first step right.

Almost a year later and this is where I ended up. July 13th 2020. Added this tank Nov 2019 an IM 40. The IM 14 is still a macro algae tank under construction.

Thanks guys :)

Tahoe!!! Honestly, sometimes the simple tanks are the best. I currently just have a 10g with two clowns and some snails
Hi @Tahoe61 !!! Welcome back! We've missed you :D Great looking nano :)

I have missed you guys too.

Stepped back into the hobby with a tiny tank after a brief absence.

Have a great IM 40 with rocks and scape sitting dry until I feel that committed again.

Check it out I went with black sand for this tank, now that is new to me, I like it.

Viperspectra gives off a nice shimmer too.

My uncle has a 45 gallon with black sand, and I must say I do like it as well. It sort of gives more contrast to the coral and rock. Similar to painting the background of a tank black instead of blue :)

It reminds me of the contrast with old school velvet posters. The color really pops.

I really like the look in nano tanks.

In my other dry tank I have white which is my preference for larger tanks. In the past I tried BB and it just does not sit right with me aesthetically.

.

Hi Daniel. :)

Next comes the coral. Spent a lot of time learning to navigate the hot new digs of R2R, I have to get around to checking out everyone else tank.

Hope all is well.

@Tahoe61 welcome back! Feels like all is right with the world again. Is that an SB Reef Light over the tank?

I was so hyped up on checking all the new stuff out here I did not need caffeine today.

Yup on the light ID. Not a bad black box for the price. I am still trying to figure out settings/intensity. Any insight appreciated.

Thank you for the kind words.
Welcome back Cheryl...it's really good to see you posting again and back in the game.

Thank you. I have a lot of POTM threads to catch up on.
Hope all is well.

Nice tank, I am a nano person myself.

Yup me too, if not for nanos I would probably never been able to keep so many different types of tanks.

Mine is definitely a work in progress.
Slow progress but I can honestly say I have avoid a lot of the common major pitfalls just letting the tank run nearly for 10 months.
