Just curious. When buying some snails I ended up with this guy that is pretty different than any of my others. Looks like a cowrie maybe. I got a few of these worms on a coral I bought. They look like a safe kind but I'd like a second opinion.

Got a few pics just now. Think they should be much clearer.

So I finally found out what type of snail I have. It is hands down a Marginella of some kind. Anyone have any experience with them? Seems like a shinier nassarius type of snail but maybe a little less efficient.

I know it will be hard to see but today I was showing my wife what type it was and there was an odd spot trailing behind it on its foot. Very round. Pretty shiny. Couple dark spots on it. I'm pretty certain it is a baby Marginella. Are there any snails known to carry around their young like that?

I have these eggs on the glass. I think they are Nassarius eggs. Should know in a few more days unless something eats them. It was a nassarius on that part of the glass on the day and time on question....

I'd love to hear some thoughts. I took the tank over from someone with a massive algae bloom and after they lost a large portion of their livestock. I'm guessing it's a good sign when things are reproducing. Got mushroom that had a baby and my thoas have doubled already.
