Hi! I just bought an astrea snail and found a snail on it. I took it off the shell of the astrea and flipped it over. I have a Stomatella in my tank and it looks similar by the shell, but the problem is, I flip it over and it looks like a snail inside a too big shell. Here is a picture because videos can’t post. He is very active and I’m surprised he is still alive because I left him there basically over night.

Take a look at slipper snails, sometimes referred to as slipper-limpets. They're harmless, and a pretty common hitcher on Astraea.

Yes! Thank you! Some common shells look exactly like it. Sadly though, he died. And went down the drain and got crushed up. I feel bad now.
