I just want to say thanks to all of you. This is a disheartening situation.

Is another fish hurting or bullying them in your absence?
A simple test is to set up your phone infront of tank and record tank for about 30-40 mins But leave the area as fish know when youre there and are on their best behavior. Return later and view video for any possible aggressors

5 fish in 2 days lost
Invertebrates unaffected
16 gill bpm
No visible marks on any fish
While I'm still thinking velvet, the number of fish still alive makes me wonder. We can however rule out water quality, toxins, stray voltage and the like because the inverts are still fine. You wrote 16 bpm for the breathing rate, that is too slow, normal rates run 60 TO 80 BPM AND FAST IS 100+
Any chance you can post a video of the remaining fish taken under white light?
