Everyone is in until it’s time to pay so u might want to start a list
And get everything worked out
Ie how many people how long what coral what amount of money what’s the prize

It’s a lot of work so better u then me
Also I wouldn’t do two contest when the time comes and it’s time to pay ur barely going to have enough people for the contest spend all the energy on one grow out is my opinion
Justin is correct. For the Snipers blue contest going on right now, I would say maybe a 1/3 of the people who said they wanted in ended up dropping out when it came time to pay.

It's a pain trying to keep track of who said they were in and waiting for weeks until they paid while I had a whole other list of people who wanted in but had to wait on the original people to pay/not pay to join. The best advice I can give and if I was to do it again I would forget the whole list thing and just have the first so many people who pay are in the contest until the slots are full.

Do you think we could have Adam make a link to the contest frag and show their invoice that they paid and maybe have it listed to 25 slots and on the page say how many frags left?

Also whoever joins make sure when they pay to let Adam know their reef2reef name as several people would pay by email and we had no way to know who they were on r2r.

The hardest part is setting it all up for sure. I agree it should be first come first serve and then ask Adam for a list of who has paid, and match it up with r2r usernames is the easiest way.

That’s my plan

That’s one reason I thought we would wait 3 weeks or so
But, you should try to get people paying and setting up shipping dates (barring weather issues) asap so get in touch with Adam now! It'll probably take about 1-2 weeks to fill all the slots and for Adam to frag+heal all the pieces, too.

Here are my votes btw. I don’t know what’s hardy and a good grower. I like the ones that you can see some obvious growth every month (like the Snipers Blue):

It’s tough picking from @Battlecorals coz of all the awesome corals Adam has. Also @bubbaque shouldnt be allowed to join hahah jkjk

Is there a way that you could put a down payment that's nonrefundable to hold a spot? And then use that money towards the coral as a discount? I understand the issues with people claiming they want in and bail. It can get frustrating to the person who is setting it up. I've never set up a contest, so just throwing out an idea good or bad.

And as for corals, I agree that we should wait until Adam chimes in on what he has as far as quantity.
