So I recently finished a 45 day fallow period on my display tank and was able to place my 2 clowns and wrasse back in it. They had 30 days of copper and 2 weeks observation. Right now though I have 2 anthias and a royal gramma in a 10g qt and a flameback angel in a 3g qt. The 10g has about 10 more days of copper while the 3g has 17 days of copper treatment left. I also have a striped blenny arriving sometime Thursday morning which will need a qt. How would I go about minimizing the amount of qt tanks?

Right now I have a 20g open with no fish, 10g with 3 fish and a 3g with one fish.. I could move the fish from the 10g to the 20g and then maybe put the flameback in with those fish when he's ready for prazi.. then have the blenny in the 10g.. or should I just try and keep it simple leave the fish where they are and add the blenny to the empty 20g? Just a lot of tanks to monitor is all really..

Monitor each mainly for ammonia and daily observation
You reached the minimum fallow recommendation but with proper diet and water quality, fish immunity system should be good

You could put all of them in the 20 gallon, but if you do so, you will need to set the 30 day clock to the same as the current QT with the longest remaining treatment time.

Do you think the flameback angel would bully anyone in a qt system with anthias and royal gramma?

Minimum fallow period is enough I hope.. for what it's worth I run a well sized uv at a nice slow gph 12 hrs a day (night) pretty sure your a proponent of uv..

Depends on the size of the flame and whether the other fish have places to hide.

Yea my initial plan was to move him to the 20g when it was freed up. He's been in the 3g for 2 weeks now seems ok but like the idea of moving him. But I have the blenny coming on Thursday and don't think he would fare any better in a 3g.. I could acclimate the blenny in the 20g on Thursday then move the flameback in there once copper is at therapeutic levels but then what once the flameback is done with copper and needing prazi? Move him back to the 3g?

You will need to leave all fish in the 20 gal qt with copper until the 30 days pass for whichever was rhe last fish added. Then treat all with prazi at the same time.

3 gal is to small for any fish.

Gobies and wrasse need a container of clean sand (play sand not calcium based sand) to bury in at night. About 2 inches deep in small plastic, glass or China dish.

Nuff said I'll move him today. Won't the anthias and royal gramma be ok in the 10g tho? They are small like 1inch or less

I think blennies also like sand. Might want to double check since you are getting one.

10 gallon is ok for a couple of 1 inch fish if you can keep the water parameters stable.

Just to show I'm not a terrible fish owner wanted to show conditions angel has been living in. Also his 20g new home.

Is the 20g his new home or new quarantine?

Mr vette since you are here I was wondering if blennys need some sand in qt or if regular ol' bare bottom is ok for them. I have a striped blenny coming and want to make sure he's comfortable in the qt
They like some sand and if you wish to run bare bottom, you can add a plastic bown with sand to tank
