My hope is to have it ready for a wet test of the system this weekend. Hopping to have the remaining fitting and the electrical like the apex by then.

I got some sad news today. Brs's order of Tonga branch is delayed 2 weeks. So that's going to push my build 2 weeks.

That reminds me of when I was ready to order my 1st pair of ponies, ha ha! I had been cycling the tank from May through August because I had a 2 week trip in September. I get home from that trip and order the ponies the next day. Ocean Rider says their seahorses are on vacation for 2 weeks! I couldn't get them until Oct. 2nd.

Do you see it?

I put the gasket on the wrong side. Had to remove the overflow and redo all this work.

All fixed.

Well I feel a little doubted. I bought an apex jr and breakout box to use it as an auto top off not realizing I also need to buy a pm1 also. It was extremely hard for me to spend that much money on an aquarium but I did based on the stores recommendations. I speak to them several times before I made the punches. I would have never bought any of it if I would have known it requires an extra $90 part. I'm sure they won't take is back now because I mounted it before I noticed they wouldn't connect. I plan to call them Monday but at best this has delayed the project at least a week and at worst I spent $300 on something that won't do what I need.

That sucks. So sorry they did that to you. Can you find one used maybe for cheaper if they won't take it back?

OK so I have to buy an additional module. This at least means I can monitor one more thing. The choices are ph, orp, and salinity. What should I monitor?

If it was me, since you are using this for an ato i would go with ph. Although i don't know what orp is?

Orp is Oxidation-Reduction Potential from my understanding it is the radio between organic matter to oxidisers.

I can't wait to get the apex installed. Doing a DIY breakout box. Got the new pm1. I'm still trying to decide if I should monitor ph or orp. But it looks like I can start cycling this weekend.

With seahorses I would monitor orp. With the amount of WCs you will be doing in a seahorse tank the ph will be stable with a good reputable salt.
