Sodium Nitrate and Trisodium Phosphate from Loudwolf is this the right stuff?

I ordered Sodium Nitrate and Trisodium Phosphate from Loudwolf to start dosing. Is this the right stuff, or would there of been better options? There is calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium options for nitrate. Ammonium, calcium, potassium, sodium, and trisodium for phosphate.

Sodium nitrate, yes. Trisodium phosphate, no. You want monopotassium phosphate, instead. IMHO.

I think you’re fine either way. I’d err toward sodium formulations because I don’t want to mess with K that much. THAT SAID... here is the Colt 45 of nitrate additives...it’s Potassium Nitrate, but works every time!

Colt 45? Seems more like a "made it myself on a 3D printer and hope it doesn't explode in my face" type of device. lol

Like how many teaspoons or grams to 1L of RODI?
and how much of that solution in ml would raise nitrates by a certain amount per gallon?
My system is 85 us gallons.

This is the calculator to use. Select Nitrate - from Potassium Nitrate and I use teaspoons. You can make it any strength you want, and it will tell you how many ml you will need to raise the nitrate to your goal.

For example 85 gallon tank 4 teaspoons nitrate potassium with 500 ml of ro water. Every 1ml added would raise your tanks nitrate 0.09 ppm

Thanks but doesnt potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate have different concentrations? Or interchangeable?

Randy Holmes-Farley confirmed to just use Potassium Nitrate on the calculator and it's close.

They are quite close. A chemistry perfectionist would make a 15% correction (15% less NaNO3 than KNO3), but no one is controlling nitrate to within 15% (if you want to dose 3 ppm per day, and you end up dosing 3.4 ppm per day, does that concern anyone?).
