Good comensal feather dusters. They pose no harm to anything. Filter feeders, so a good sign your corals have food available too.

Commensalism is a long-term biological interaction in which members of one species gain benefits while those of the other species neither benefit nor are harmed.
Sorry about the word.They will proliferate but not harmful to corals or fish.

Yea they are just a small feather duster and their populations will increase or decrease by the amount of food available. If you add phyto to the tank the population can get pretty heavy. Also some of the coral foods will increase the population.

Also things like shrimp will pray on them pretty easily. Some fish like some species of butterfly fish can rip through them fast.

They pose no harm and usually will be in the darker portions of the tank and under rocks.
