Hey guys wondering what these are growing on one of my rocks, look like tube worms of some sort?? Not sure if they are causing any trouble at this stage?

Seem to be multiplying though.

Hi @Aussiemarine
From what I can see, they could be feather duster worms or vermetid snails. Do you ever see anything coming out of them?

I don’t see anything come out of them (like a feather duster) except like a small antenna and I thought perhaps vermetid snails but they never shoot a web or anything like vermetids do.

SPIONID WORMS. These worms also live in tubes, but rather than filter feeding like the dusters, they will grab larger food with their palps (the antenna-looking things). They are good scavengers.

Looks like the ones thank you! I’m guessing they are all good to keep then

The peanut worms never do tubes like on your photos, they always use holes and gaps on the LR.
If I'm will observe them for the webs if they are vermetid. count if there are more than 2 antennas should be fine, but if are only 2-4 vermetide

Had the same thing on my live rock. Definitely want to keep them, it's a great addition to your clean up crew.

Thanks guys - definitely not vermetid snails as I have had them before and they are messy and easy to tell when they start sending out webs
