Some type of egg?

I just found this thing in the back corner of my tank. Could it be some type of egg? The orange on it fluoresces.
This is the only one I saw. Looked through the tank pretty carefully after pulling it out to see if there were more.
The cup its in is a regular frag cup for scale.
The photos were taken under reef lights through an orange filter.

Looks like a zoa closed up. If you have zoas, probably broke free.
I did have some zoas that had some orange on them a few months ago. Shortly after adding them to the tank they detached and I couldn't find them. Any chance it could still be alive? What's the best thing I can do for it? Super glue it to a plug?
