Morning all,
I've had an issue with my sand for a few months now. On my weekly water changes I always siphoned the sand as I cleaned.
At the time my nitrates were 20-25ppm and phosphate around 0.07. Didn't think it was dino because I never really had low nutrients in my tank.
It got worse of late.
Got my nutrients down somewhat to 5-8 nitrates and 0.05 phosphate.
Can any one help with id?
Plus I have been treating it with mb7 and adding phytoplankton regularly. Allowed GHA to grow on rocks and the back of the glass. Made a small difference kept nutrients balanced. Didnt stir my sand bed for 2 months I havnt done a water change in over a month as well. But this morning I siphoned out a load of it. As it was thick in some places.
When looking under microscope it looks like it is. But there's thick mated stuff as well.
Sorry for the not great pics i have the shakes this morning.
Any help would be appreciated. Also what else can I do to try to beat it.
