I have a thread going on my local forum but wanted to share here.

I’ll preface this by saying an AIO was not my desired choice, but it fit the bill. In 2016 my wife and moved into a nice apartment in an area we loved. We planned on it being long term, so I began building a dream setup - 80 gallon SPS dominant reef.

Well 1 year later we were packing up all our stuff for another move. Not wanting to move the tank, and not having much real estate in the new apartment I sold my dream setup. I found a Fluval M90 locally for cheap. I kept some choice SPS and my 5 year old blue gig and clowns.

Due to frequent business travel and a busy summer, the tank never did well here. Ended up losing most all my SPS nearly immediately after the move. I didn’t think to adjust my doser when dropping from a 100 gallon system to a 35 gallon system. Alk spikes and nuked nearly all SPS. Only thing that really made it was my WD frag.

In November 2017 my wife and I bought our first house, and after a year of steadiness the tank has finally hit its stride.

Unfortunately about 2 months ago my gig took a walk into my MP10 [emoji24] and didn’t make it.

The tank has been going strong lately and now packed full. So much so, that I’ve got a shipment from WWC and FHC and have no idea where the pieces are going to go! Please excuse the iPhone photos, bit of cyano on the sand (got a little feeding crazy this past month) and the algae. Just got a new fuge light and within a week the chaeto has taken off. Also added a 1.5” gold spotted rabbit fish to attack the turf algae growing on the rocks.

Along with WWC Hippie Juice, WWC Snowdrop, WWC Sunfire Grafted Cap, WWC Rainbow Aurora, Paletta Pink Tip, and RR Pink Cadillac.

I think I have room on my rock for maybe 3...

Kinda forgot I started this thread. Not much has changed, tank is just in cruise control at this point. Looking into adding a KH Director in next month. Likely wait and see if there are any Black Friday deals.

Lovely tank buddy what lights you running on it? The colours are phenomenal!.

I was running a Reef Breeders Photon V2 but swapped it out for a. 4 bulb ATI. I loved the V2 but I had a 24” fixture on a 36” tank. The ATI has been great though.

This is my first full T5 setup, and I am very happy. I’ll add a blue led light bar at some point for the fun actinic views, but the growth and color under the T5’s has been phenomenal.

Sweet! I'm going to be running 6 tubes but the extra two bulbs will probably be super Actinic for added pop. Ive not run t5s for about 5 years but i had a similar setup but had some aquablues in there but made it look alittle too white so swapped them out for the Actinic (If that's how you spell it) lol

Good evening, beautiful aquarium, but what do you use as "hopstop" (the lid)
